#1 Make sure you stop at some bakery and ask for burek sa sirom (with cheese) or burek sa mesom (with meat) - the most typical pie in Serbia.

#2 For great ćevapi (finger shaped minced meat) you can visit Cica or Walter (there are several ones around the town).

#3 You can try knedle (local dumplings) in Ferdinand knedle. They offer the classic knedle sa sljivama (with plums) but also many other flavours.

#4 Ambar restaurant in Beton hala (group of bars/restaurants by the river side) offers Serbian food in tapas style - it is a bit more pricey but really delicious and great for tasting different foods.

#5 Paša restaurant in Zemun, on the Danube riverside, offers a great selection of fish and especially yummy riblja čorba (fish soup).

#6 Samo Pivo beer bar offers a great variety of both domestic and foreign craft beers. And for coffee, try Kafeterija.

If you want to warm up for the wedding, or did not have enough and want to continue partying, check out some of the boat clubs on Sava river - basically you can get to the river side and switch as many clubs as you wish until you find a perfect one.

If you're more into the hipster vibe, Savamala and Cetinjska Street (at the site of the old brewery) offer a lot of interesting bars, restaurants and clubs.
