General info

¡Important! - you may need your passport to enter Serbia. Please confirm whether your national ID is considered a valid travel document or if a passport is needed. You can check the following website for more information Visa regime | Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.gov.rs)

The official currency in Serbia is Serbian Dinar (RSD). In most of the places (especially in the cities), you will be able to pay with a card, however it is good to have some cash with you. You can exchange the money in many of the exchange offices in the city.

Getting to Belgrade

From Barcelona, there are direct flights to Belgrade with AirSerbia and WizzAir. We recommend flying with AirSerbia if not too expensive, as the cheapest ticket includes cabin luggage, whereas with WizzAir you need to pay extra.

From Madrid, there are direct flights with AirSerbia. One of the alternatives, with not too long waiting time, would be flying with Lufthansa with a layover in Germany.

To search for flights you can check out www.skyscanner.com or a similar flight search engine.

If you are feeling adventurous and want to travel to Belgrade by car, we recommend you to make a nice trip out of it and visit south of France, north of Italy, Slovenia and Croatia on the way.

Accommodation

Belgrade is a big city and offers variety of options when it comes to accommodation - hotels, hostels, river hotels, apartments. To ease moving around, we recommend you to stay close to the Old town or in New Belgrade. You can use platforms like Booking and Airbnb to explore different options.

If you will need accommodation for the weeding weekend (Friday and Saturday evening), please indicate so in your RSVP or let us know, as we may be able to offer some rooms.
